North Shore Culture Days - Sneak Peek

Interested in a Public Art bicycle tour on the Spirit Trail?  Storytelling and crafty upcycling at NV City Library? How about a guided tour of the spectacular Bosa Film Centre at CapU?  Or, if you love the music of J.S. Bach, you can join the the North Shore Chamber Orchestra onstage at the Centennial Theatre for the first ever 'Brandenburg'Palooza' - a fun and friendly 'playdate' for amateur musicians to play through the popular Brandenburg Concertos under the baton of NSCO Conductor Charles Inkman.  All this, and more, during North Shore Culture Days on September 27, 28, 29.  Everyone's invited and everything's FREE!

Culture Days is the largest-ever collective public participation campaign undertaken by the arts and cultural community in this country. Here on Vancouver's North Shore, Culture Days celebrations are being coordinated by The Arts Office on behalf of the City and District of North Vancouver, with support from the District of West Vancouver, Vancouver North Shore Tourism Association, North Vancouver Rec Commission, North Vancouver City Library, and North Vancouver District Public Library.

North Shore artists, cultural and heritage groups, libraries and community centres are invited to participate and can register their event on the Culture Days website at www.culturedays.ca.

Participating artists and creative organizations will be included in a FREE North Shore Culture Days Map & Guide that will be part of a special 4-page spread in the the North Shore News.
