In December 2011, Councils for the City and District of North Vancouver approved recommendations for the following projects and events that will take place between January 1st and June 30th, 2012.
The Arts Office will offer a Grant Workshop on September 27, 2011 from 6:30-8:30pm at the Lynn Valley District Library. Cultural Development Officers John Rice and Barb McLean will provide a general overview of the grants programs administered by the Arts Office. In addition, the workshop will focus on the 2012 Project Grants Program in preparation for the first round application intake deadline on Thursday October 20, 2011.
September 2011 - Project Grants are available for 2012. The Arts Office accepts project grant applications across FIVE categories to support a broad range of community cultural events as well as arts and cultural activities.
September 2011 - Operating Grant Guidelines for 2012 are now available. Operating Grants are available to eligible arts, cultural and heritage organizations based on the North Shore to support their annual operating activities. Organizations that received an Operating Grant in 2011 are required to submit a Final Report and Budget in order to be eligible to apply for operating support in 2012.
