Operating Grants are provided to support the annual operating activities of eligible North Shore arts, culture and heritage organizations. The grants are administered by The Arts Office on behalf of the City of North Vancouver and the District of North Vancouver.
Operating Grants are intended to support a diverse range of activities that enrich the quality of life of North Vancouver residents. The program focuses on and supports:

- Groups that create and present work produced primarily by local artists/performers/artisans;
- Groups that operate year-round in a fiscally responsible manner with a sound governance model;
- Groups that demonstrate leadership, innovation and collaboration in their artistic and community engagement practices;
