


- Open Houses will be held in the District and in the City of North Vancouver to gather feedback from residents that will inform a new North Vancouver Cultural Plan. - A key component of the process will be a World Café at Presentation House Arts Centre on April 12, 2012. A facilitated, half-day workshop, the World Café is designed to stimulate ideas and encourage collaborative discussions regarding aspirations, opportunities and challenges for the arts and culture in North Vancouver.
- World Café - Thursday April 12, 1:00-4:30pm, Presentation House Arts Centre. This interaction of a broad spectrum of community, arts, and cultural interests and expertise will help to refine objectives and priorities for the Cultural Plan.
- January 2012 - The development of a new Cultural Plan for North Vancouver is now underway. The North Vancouver Cultural Plan, 2012-2025 will be a guiding document that will renew, refresh and re-envision plans for the ongoing development of arts and culture in the City and District of North Vancouver.
- October 2010 - The Lower Lonsdale Cultural Facilities Study is a comprehensive planning study to relocate three of the community's most important arts, heritage and cultural facilities in North Vancouver.
- In 2002 following an extended planning and consultation process, the City and District adopted the North Vancouver Cultural Plan.
- In 1988 Councils for the City and District of North Vancouver, together with the District of West Vancouver, adopted the first Cultural Plan for the North Shore.
