Banners to Bags - Lonsdale Street Banners
March 2011 - Last year's Lonsdale Street Banners are this year's fashion statement! Artist Duane Murrin was commissioned through the City of North Vancouver's Public Art Program to design three sets of street banners. Inspired by west coast nature imagery, these colourful banners lit up Lonsdale Avenue for well over a year. Once removed, and after a good washing, the banners were recycled and transformed into beautiful tote bags.

Recipients will be notified and can pick up their tote bag Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm from the Arts Office at Library Square in Lynn Valley - Suite 315, 1277 Lynn Valley Road, North Vancouver.
