2014 Project Grants - Supporting Creative Community

The Arts Office administers a wide range of community, arts and cultural grant programs on behalf of the City and District of North Vancouver. This investment focuses on local, not-for-profit arts groups and community agencies; recognizes creative sector activity as a cornerstone of a vital, energetic community; and supports the rich diversity of cultural life on the North Shore. Project Grants support an eclectic and exciting range of arts activities, community celebrations, festivals and other projects that reflect the spirit, creativity and diversity of the community.

2014 Project Grants provide support for activities in the following categories:

  1. ARTS PROJECTS & EVENTS
  2. COMMUNITY ART PROJECTS
  3. COMMUNITY CELEBRATIONS
  4. SIGNATURE EVENTS & FESTIVALS
  5. REQUESTS UP TO $2500

For more information, guidelines, and application materials for each Project Grant category, please visit: www.artsoffice.ca/funding/project_grants

Recommendations for financial support through the Project Grants program are made by an independent jury that is selected for their knowledge and experience in different fields of artistic and creative practice.  Juries are tasked with reviewing and evaluating all grant applications, and their consensus recommendations are then presented to City and District Councils for ratification.

Whether you're a returning Project Grants client or new on the scene, please contact staff at the Arts Office to discuss your project and organizational eligibility prior to submitting a grant request.
