Arts Office eNews:: April 2012

The development of a new Cultural Plan for North Vancouver has people talking! Public consultation has been integral to the cultural planning process and we extend heartfelt thanks to all those who participated in our first-ever World Café at Presentation House Arts Centre earlier this month. Don't worry, it's not too late to contribute to the plan. Everyone is invited to complete the Cultural Plan Online Survey or, to come out to one of our Open House events in early May.

We hope to hear from you!

  • The development of a new Cultural Plan for North Vancouver is now well underway and the Arts Office has been thrilled with the response from the community to date. Input from key stakeholders in the cultural sector, and from the community at large, has helped to guide the development of priorities and strategies that will inform a new cultural plan for our community. It's still a work in progress, so please consider taking a few moments to complete the Cultural Planning Online Survey. Or, join us at an Open House in early May to share your ideas and learn more about the cultural planning process.

Its practitioners create stunning works of art out of yarn that enliven public spaces. Here on the North Shore, the North Vancouver Community Arts Council invites community members to participate in a yarn bombing project that will include instruction, hands-on workshops and knit-ins!
