The North Shore Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1970. It currently has approximately 25 members ranging in age from 13 to 70+. The orchestra meets for weekly rehearsals at Sutherland Secondary School in North Vancouver. They play two annual public concerts at Christmas and in the spring. In addition they perform at seniors residences on the North Shore and the Gospel Mission in Vancouver. Their repertoire is varied and is designed to appeal to most music lovers.
