North Shore Culture Days - We Did It!

North Shore residents were among the millions of Canadians in 800 communities across the country that fell in love with culture over the Culture Days weekend in September. With over 75 free activities happening right here in North and West Vancouver, our first-ever North Shore Culture Days inspired community members of all ages to get out and explore, experience and engage in the arts.

Creativity is nurtured within many sectors of our diverse community and we were thrilled to have local artists and cultural groups, as wells as hotels, cafes and creative businesses opening their doors to participate in North Shore Culture Days.

We extend a big thank you to our North Shore Culture Days partners - the City and District of North Vancouver (through the Arts Office), West Vancouver District, North Vancouver District Public Library, West Vancouver Memorial Library, North Vancouver City Library, Vancouver North Shore Tourism, and a big bravo goes out to the North Shore News!

Culture Days is the largest-ever collective public participation campaign undertaken by the arts and cultural community in Canada. We're thrilled to have played our part and we look forward to North Shore Culture Days, Year Two on September 27, 28, 29, 2013. Please join us!
