Tis' the Season for Creative Sustainability!

Buying local, upcycling and healthy lifestyles are just some of the sustainable practices that consumers are embracing more and more each day. In this month's Artists Among Us series you'll learn about the environmentally friendly activities of two highly creative North Vancouver municipal staffers.

We also include some creative and sustainable gift giving ideas for the upcoming holiday season. Consider applying the '100 Mile' concept to your Christmas shopping list and give the gift of a live show or concert, a one-of-kind craft, or an original piece of art. You'll be buying local and supporting North Shore artists in the process!

Think of the on! event calendar as your environmentally friendly shopping resource any time of the year! At the Arts Office, we make it our goal to promote as many North Shore events as possible in the on! calendar, and through Twitter and Facebook.

There's lots of creative activity to get you in the spirit!
