North Vancouver Recreation & Culture administers Project and Operating Grants programs on behalf of the City and District of North Vancouver. The following list of 2015 Operating Grants and Project Grants (Round 2) have been approved by Mayors and Councils.

Arts Projects/Events

  • Artists For Kids, 25th Anniversary Book - $5,000

  • Blueridge International Chamber Music Festival - $4,000

  • Nava Art Society, Community Orchestra - $2,000

  • North Vancouver Community Arts Council, Trolley Dances - $3,000

  • Seymour Art Gallery, 30 Years Anniversary - $7,500

  • Smith Foundation/Gallery, Arts Encounter - $4,500

  • Urban Ink, Sal Capone - $8,500

  • Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra, Sounds Global Concert - $2,500

  • VIMFF Society, Fall Series - $2,500

Community Art Projects

  • Cascadia Society for Social Working, Grimm Fairy Tale - $2,000

Community Celebrations

  • Parkgate Community Services Society, Parkgate Family Day - $2,000

  • North Shore Polish Association, Polish Festival - $2,500

Major / Signature Festivals

  • Artists for Conservation Foundation, AFC Festival - $9,000

  • Coho Society of the North, Coho Festival - $8,000

  • Metro Philippine Arts & Culture Expo, Philippine Days - $6,000

  • Trinidad & Tobago Cultural Society, Caribbean Days - $12,500

Please contact NVRC staff to discuss your organizational eligibility prior to submitting a grant request.
