FANS - Don S. Williams Artist Grants
Established in 1995, the purpose of FANS is to increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of the arts through a variety of programs. Each year the Society accepts applications for the Don S. Williams Grant that recognizes the artistic contributions and accomplishment of North Shore artists who have demonstrated a maturity of talent.
FANS was established in 1995 by the Arts and Culture Commission of North Vancouver and is overseen by a volunteer board. The Don S. Williams Award funds come from the investment income generated by the FANS endowment fund.
FANS funds are managed by the North Shore Community Foundation. As a registered charity, the Society can issue tax receipts for donations of $25 or more.
