    Group show, Small Wonders, opens at the Artemis Gallery in Deep Cove on November 8th. A vibrant selection of smaller work (at smaller prices!) by six wonderful artists, this show also offers a glimpse at the range of solo exhibitions coming to Artemis in 2012.

  • November 09 - January 04, 2021
    The North Vancouver Community Arts Council is proud to present a new exhibition of works by artist Anne Gaze at the District Library Gallery in the Lynn Valley Main Library. Anne’s paintings and prints are inspired by the archeological sites in Mexico. She explores their unique settings from aerial viewpoints, as well as the affects of time on their structures and surfaces.

    A wonderful opportunity to purchase original art in time for Christmas! Artwork is sold right off the wall from the opening until Saturday December 17th.     A festive joint concert with Pandora's Vox and Espiritu Vocal Ensemble. Pandora's Vox and Espiritu Vocal Ensemble join forces to present Wonderland, a festive celebration in song guaranteed to warm the heat and lift the spirit! These concerts sell out so please book early to avoid disappointment.

    We Three Choirs, a holiday choral offering of North Shore Chorus and its guests, the "Argyle Senior Vocal Ensemble" and "Pieces of Eight". An evening of holiday favorites, interesting music as well as a family friendly singalong.

    Capilano University Choirs and Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra join forces to perform Mozart's brilliant, but rarely performed, Great Mass in C Minor. The full orchestra and chorus will thrill with popular opera choruses from Il Trovatore, La Traviata, Nabucco, Lucia di Lammermoor and Carmen.

    Join us for a Festive Holiday sing-a-long Concert with the BC Boys Choir to celebrate the season. Over its 43 year history, the British Columbia Boys Choir has gained international acclaim throughout North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and China. The choir has trained over 800 members who have represented Canada on 30 international tours, performing a demanding repertoire spanning the centuries, from sacred Gregorian chants to contemporary secular works.

    Laudate Singers is joined by the newly-formed virtuosic duo Couloir with harpist Heidi Krutzen and cellist Ariel Barnes. A stellar evening of Christmas classics and colourfully varied special commissions.

    Handel’s Messiah, with the Pacific Spirit Choir and Orchestra and outstanding soloists under Conductor, Gerald van Wyck. Enjoy the sounds of over 80 of Vancouver’s finest musicians as they give a spirited and polished performance of this Christmas masterwork.
  • December 14 - December 31
    This year’s pantomime by Norman Robbins directed by Damian Inwood. A traditional English pantomime, complete with men dressed as women, women dressed as men, villains and a handsome prince who wins the heart of a fair maiden. Follow the antics of the wicked stepmother and her two ugly daughters. A hilarious farce. This year Deep Cove Stage Society will be celebrating its 30th anniversary of producing pantomimes.
