  • August 27 - October 21
    Combining his appreciation for the superheroes and villains of comic books with his fascination for emoticons and the roles they both play in contemporary society, Maziar Mehrabi creates a hybrid graphic art series celebrating both.
  • September 09 - November 03
    Debbie Westergaard Tuepah's artwork is a response to news articles and research on the cultural significance of language, Canada’s linguistic diversity, and the preservation of endangered languages. Mother Tongue, an installation piece using colourful strands of paint that reflect the 81 reported Mother Tongue languages represented in the City of North Vancouver.
  • September 10 - October 18
    This exhibition features the work of six contemporary artists, who work in a variety of media and styles, and who are responding to two old master prints depicting Classical art and architecture. Reception: Sunday, September 14, 2–4pm.
  • September 19 - October 11
    This exhibition celebrates the fantastical elements and characters of the Lewis Carroll novels Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. Each artist offers a unique approach using a diverse selection of media including etchings, photography, paintings, textile art and assemblages. Opening reception: Thursday, September 18, 7-9pm.

    Help us celebrate Women’s History Month at our suffragette themed fundraiser for the North Vancouver Museum and Archives. Join us in an evening of fun, appetizers, desserts and more including the theatrical presentation of Rebel Women: a play that weaves together the songs and stories of women in the late 1800s/early 1900s who fought hard for the right to vote.

    Join us at 7 pm for a FREE party with live music, affordable awesome local art, munchies and good refreshments! Enjoy live music by the incomparable DJ/violinist Michael Fraser. If that’s not enough, come for the silent auction, good food and bad dancing!
  • October 22 - November 08
    ART PARTY! is a fundraising exhibition and evening event supporting the non-profit Seymour Art Gallery. All original artwork by more than 40 established and emerging local artists will be sold at $100, $200 or $300.
