July 31, 2020 - The City of North Vancouver in partnership with Squamish Nation, is seeking Expressions of Interest from Squamish Nation Artists to create and install contemporary Coast Salish public artworks along a new section of the North Shore Spirit Trail between Mosquito Creek Marina and Bewicke Avenue. Submission deadline is September 5, 2014.

There are two public art projects associated with this Call. All eligible submissions will be considered for both projects.

Project #1: West Gateway
Location: Bewicke entrance onto Squamish Nation Land
Budget: $37,000

Project #2: Mosquito Creek Pedestrian Bridge
Location: Integrated into the bridge design, or situated adjacent to the bridge
Budget: $37,000

Eligibility:  This Limited Public Art Call has been prepared to solicit response from Squamish Nation artists (working in any medium) who can demonstrate the creative expertise and technical skills required to manage all phases of the public art process from design development through to installation.
